All of my paintings are done on altered garments. I’m constantly fascinated by human interaction with clothing styles and trends. Our choice of clothing and style effectively acts as a filter through which we would like to be perceived. In the same way, I like to create my canvasses to be analyzed in conjunction with the subjects painted on them. Without fail, we all have a distinct connection to the things we wear.
