Leather and Stone is a study of surface. Shot in one park, in one black leather look, the series sets worn stone, wet bark and hard light against the sheen of the jacket and the stillness of the figure. Color gives way to black and white as the day turns, and the setting becomes a graphic field of shadow and texture.
