Emmanuel Ayo is a Nigerian-born artist currently residing in Montreal, Canada. He primarily works with oil paint and a mixture of acrylic, and enjoys creating paintings with the goal of emotionally influencing those who view his work. While his arresting artistic style is peppered with vibrant colours, his realism also helps create a safe, interactive space between his work and its viewers. These paintings explore an array of human emotions associated with the way each painting is presented. Emmanuel’s inspiration comes from his experiences, since he has learned much through them—both positive and negative—and they have enabled him to create beautiful pieces filled with their own unique stories and atmospheres.
