Originally from the UK, I’ve made Hong Kong my home and creative haven for nearly four decades. As the founder of the Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation, I've been a prominent figure in the local arts scene for over 30 years, engaging in performing arts, writing, directing, and producing to foster artistic expression. As a painter and mixed media artist, I embrace a non-linear creative process. My work organically unfolds using materials like acrylics, decorative papers, and photographic transfers, guided by chance and curiosity. Through my art, I capture fleeting moments of perception and emotion, creating lyrical visual languages that foster understanding and empathy. Recognized for my contributions, I was honoured with an MBE in 1997 and elevated to OBE in 2006 for promoting UK arts overseas.
