Can analogue photography, combined with a neurodivergent perspective, act as a protective system for culture and ecosystems? ‘Magical Delta’ takes this question as its starting point. The project documents fragile river deltas around the world.

Analogue negatives do not contain metadata. My neurodivergent perception generates representations of the landscape that are unreadable to geolocation algorithms. The result: images that reveal the magic of a territory whilst rendering it algorithmically invisible, thereby protecting these spaces, their culture and their economies from extractive tourism that fuels the consumerism of digital images.

This is not an aesthetic choice. It is an activist methodology in which the analogue and the neurodivergent function as epistemological tools with material consequences.
