“Masks” is a series of gouache paintings that reimagine everyday social situations and routine activities through a surreal lens. Each painting serves as a critique of the performative roles we play, shaped by advertising, social expectations, and the relentless push to consume. Through surreal imagery and exaggeration, the series invites viewers to question what lies beneath the surface of normalcy, and to confront the absurdity hidden within the everyday.
