Through my work I provide a possible interpretation on the present ontological state of painting in relation to experiences of heterogeneous nature, with a particular focus on the painting/virtual world duality. My painting try to represents the “immersion” experience, an artificially event that is recognized as real, like in a video game. In my works, the canvas becomes a confrontational space between elements purely linked to virtual dynamics, such as an avatar, a scenographic environment or interactive objects and the proper language of painting.
