Mont Noir is a 14' animated short film about Marguerite Yourcenar's childhood, and her path to becoming a writer. Through losses and grief, she learns to become resilient by writing.
The film was entirely animated and handpainted with gouache on paper, it has been featured in many festivals around the world.
