I’m Liza Hodges, the sculptor behind Hodge Podge Art Studio. Mosshollow is an original fantasy world I’m building one sculpture at a time, through animal characters, their surroundings, and the small details of their lives.

The Merchant Cart brings together Marlow, a traveling raccoon merchant, and Samuel, the giant snail who pulls his cart. The finished sculpture offers an introduction to Mosshollow through its characters and the everyday objects that make their world feel lived in.

Working in polymer clay and mixed media, I use sculpture to make this imagined world tangible and invite viewers to look closely.
