I captured these photographs when visiting my hometown in San Jose, California. To me, the imagery is deeply personal. It reflects how time shapes memory. In this light, the smears, shadows and silhouettes are the motion blur of a memory evolving - landscapes being remembered and reimagined, taking on new shapes and forms.
