Based in Kamloops, B.C., Todd McInerney is an artist, professional designer, and father of two. A lifelong drawer, he studied Interactive Media at the Art Institute of Vancouver before building a nearly 20-year career in web and graphic design. In recent years, he has turned to painting, developing a narrative expressionist style defined by wild colour, raw linework, layered figures, and emotional intensity. His intuitive process involves repeated creation, destruction, and refinement, allowing crowded faces, fragmented bodies, and recurring eyes to emerge from chaotic compositions. For Todd, painting is an open-ended pursuit, and his exploration has only just begun.
