This project attempted a new twist on classical mythology, something I've obsessed over for many years. Included in this batch are representations of Dionysus, Icarus, Hecate and Hermes, as well as some satyrs, nymphs and a naiad... The characters are real in as much as they reflect us back at ourselves, everything that makes us human and more than human, but also non-human... that part of us which remains in the earth, perhaps never to leave...
