My photographic practice is rooted in close
observation, revealing moments in which the familiar becomes strange, unexpected or quietly profound.
I explore the unusual that exists in the ordinary. What the eye sees in a fleeting moment is not always what the mind has understood. The act of capturing it reveals its inner oddness. In that passing, fragile instant, a truth is often told.

This photograph, “National Archaeological Museum, Athens, 2025”, shows the quiet bathos of seeing an idealised human, in the form of this statue of a kouros, next to two more realistic human specimens sitting at his feet, their attention clearly having wandered elsewhere.
