Shot entirely inside an apartment, this series explores the relationship between natural light, skin and color. The light coming through the window creates strong contrasts across the model’s body, while the deep blue of the walls becomes almost a second character in the images. I wanted to play with the dialogue between her skin and the blue surroundings, using red and white accents to bring subtle touches of color into the frame. Through simple compositions, shadows and fragments of the body, I tried to create images that feel « mode », graphic and quietly sensual.
