This series of photos is based off the idea of my best friend's (pictured here) severe insomnia. Because she suffers from this, she tends to be somewhat of a "nocturnal animal." She comes alive at night. Because most people are sleeping, she can use the night to truly come out of her shell and to express herself and I wanted to show how a woman can become completely free in the darkness.
