Nossa Sra. da Conceição Social Neighborhood

Built more than 30 years ago, the emblematic buildings of Nossa Senhora da Conceição neighborhood underwent a rehabilitation in 2011 with the stamp of Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, within the scope of Guimarães European Capital of Culture 2012.

Parallel to the material intervention, the idea of ​​the mural, then designed specifically for each of the faces of the four blocks, served as a basis for rethinking the northwest entrance of the city and reversing a depreciative cycle to which this area and its inhabitants were subjected.

Each of the four block murals have geometric shapes and different colors: yellow, blue, orange and red, all with a pink background.
