I use a conceptual approach, often creating several practically identical works, upon which thoughts have been developed are manifested. Certain symbols remain, others are taken away never to be used again or remain dormant until that feeling returns.l I try to leave the viewer with little contact to convey a mix of conflicting feelings and thoughts. By applying a poetic and often metaphorical symbols, I want to enhance the astonishment of the viewer by creating compositions or settings that generate tranquil poetic images that leave traces and balances on the edge of recognition and alienation. My work directly responds to the surrounding environment of everyday experiences as a starting point. Often these are framed instances that would go unnoticed in their original context.
