My work lies in the valley between warm memory and strange dream. It is heavily influenced by my early life. As an only child raised in Oklahoma, I entertained myself with movies and vivid daydreams. Over time, that’s given way to me creating visual moments from some new, personal folklore. While I’m deep into personal narrative, I explore more universal psychological themes, as well. Through bodies of work in 2D, 3D, and video, I build the pages to my fairy tale book with both physical and digital ephemera.
