Submission Painting

Painting by Jenny Gorokhova “The last day of the flight”

I see creativity as a game. I play with the shape of the square, rearrange the terms and hide the main thing under a layer of paint. I draw what I saw in passing, what I thought intensely about in the evening before going to bed.
When I play, I become a child a little, so my art has a childlike spontaneity and touching, although not only. Color and irony are the main characteristics of my work.
The elements of the game can be a variety of things - from the absolutely pure beauty of my daughter to the nuances of building democracy in the post-Soviet space, but this is always something that bothers me at a certain point in time.
The way the elements are combined and intertwined is determined by the creative process - the game itself, so I never know the final result, for me it is only a partially controlled process.
