From Another Planet is a series of sculptural floor vases made from air-dry paper clay and finished with epoxy resin for a glossy, glaze-like surface. The works explore how this paper-based material can take on the scale and presence of monumental sculpture. The tallest vase measures 6.9 feet. I am documenting its dimensions and making process as part of a record attempt; any world-record claim is pending verification.
