I’m a Karachi-based artist with an educational background in pharmacy. I create large sculptural floor vases from air-dry paper clay and finish them with epoxy resin for a glossy, glaze-like surface. My series From Another Planet transforms familiar vessel forms into monumental sculptures. The tallest vase measures 6.9 feet; its record attempt is pending verification.
My goal is to expand perceptions of paper-clay and papier-mâché, pushing the medium toward larger scale and a more refined finish. I want my work to stand alongside traditional pottery in its sculptural presence and ambition.
