The timeless story of Adam and Eve portrays a heteronormative narrative that excludes queer couples and other identities. Christianity & Catholicism has had a shaky, often negative, view on LGBTQ+ rights and relationships, often denoting same-sex relationships to being sinful and wrong. I shifted that narrative and displayed my personal relationship with my lover- emphasizing how our bodies connect and intersect- different but the same.
