My work spans between photography, sculpture and installation. Coming from a background in architecture with interest in theatre and stage design, I started to combine my passion for photography with that for spatial experiences by interweaving prints of my pictures and creating three-dimensional hybrids which oscillate between image and object. Following this path, I have developed a comprehensive body of work from wall objects to immersive walk-in installations around the the relation of image, material and space. I use both my own and appropriated imagery, depending on the context of the project. While the conceptual background gains importance in my recent works, the multi-sensorial approach remains important. My aim is to create works that convince both on an intellectual level and by their physical appearance.
