I am a sculptor or rather a maker of maquettes I dream to make larger. I currently have one large scale work entitled POD installed in Providence, RI. It is my debut piece, my self introduction as an artist. The piece was designed for the public scene and in being so I hoped to create and abstract sense while still portraying easily recognizable depictions of whales, to celebrate the Ocean State of Rhode Island and to allow the masses to feel they "got" the piece despite its abstract nature. The finished sculpture was built by myself to a nearly exact 1inch=1 foot scale based on the original maquette.
