Being inspired by artists who pull from pop culture like Roy Lichtenstein and Dan Luvisi, I put my own twist to iconic Disney characters. With negative subjects that are seen throughout these artworks, I am juxtaposing their innocent and wholesome image, defacing the nearly patriotic tradition of the famous character. In addition, there are drawings of my own characters that are very much influenced by pop culture.
