Artist from Caracas, Venezuela, who has a degree in visual arts and is currently working on a bookstore.
Recorta y mueve means cut and move, this is my personal project and it explores the elements related with monetary exchange by using mostly Bolívares (the venezuelan currency) and paper figures to make collages and animations. The GIF format on my creations is also key to remind us how the internet has redefined the value of image, because this exploration seeks the attention and curiosity of the spectator in order to propose that humanity can redefine the value of anything. Using our creativity and imagination, things can become the material of play and strategy, even it is money: something deep-rooted to its conventional use.
