"Postcards From Home" is a series created during my return voyage to Australia during COVID-19. As an immigrant, I first arrived in Australia in the late 80s from a war torn former Yugoslavia. In 2011 I set out to return to Europe, seeking to find my alternative life and self. Eventually, I would settle in Berlin, Germany - the former meeting point between the east and the west. In Berlin I spent 8 years before making the journey over the seas, retracing the steps that my parents and I had made all those years ago again. This is a photographic series that documents my journey.
