My paintings explore emotional detachment, performance, and the tension between outward appearance and internal psychological states. Through surreal figurative scenes, I create environments that feel theatrical, unstable, and emotionally ambiguous. The figures in my work often appear disconnected from themselves and from one another, as if suspended between presence and absence. I use distortion, exaggerated posture, and staged compositions to visualize emotional conditions that are difficult to express directly through language. Bright, saturated colors contrast with muted tones to create both attraction and discomfort at the same time. Rather than telling fixed stories, I construct scenes that invite viewers to reflect on isolation, vulnerability, and the gap between how we appear publicly and how we feel internally.
