Hey, I'm Rosa Rojas. I am a Dominican-American multi-disciplinary artist based in Jersey City, New Jersey. I translate my technical background in analog photography and sculpture into a distinct monochrome style defined by heavy contrast. My work is influenced by my life growing up in a chaotic and busy New York where people were constantly in transit. My practice examines quiet moments, mundane tasks, and how environments continue to hold us when we are gone.
