Re: Collection, A Tattooed Dream Journal

Re:Collection is a physical manifestation of my subconscious. For this project, I revisited and illustrated entries from my personal dream journal, spanning from 2020 to the present day. Rather than keeping these dreams on paper, I chose to tattoo them onto silicone skin, transforming fleeting, intangible visions into something that feels permanent and bodily.

Through using the tools and techniques of a tattoo artist on a synthetic canvas, I wanted to explore the tension between the dream world and the physical world. The silicone allows the work to exist as tactile, unsettling archive of the things my brain creates when I’m not in control.
