The imagery in this work is drawn from glimpses into the material objects surrounding me. I use these vessels as windows into fleeting moments, where recognizable figures are distorted, as I attempt to capture the ever-shifting nature of memory and emotion. Distanced perspectives are captured through the frame of up-close objects, creating a layered effect that hints at the transitory nature of reality and separateness.
