I explore the reinterpretation of traditional Chinese totems through a personal, hand-drawn visual language. My work combines watercolor, textile textures, and animation, with each sequence offering a dynamic interpretation of a folk motif, including Miao embroidery, cloth tigers, Fengxiang clay sculpture, traditional woodcarving, and shadow puppets. Through the interplay of fabric and time, static patterns are brought to life, revealing the contemporary vitality and rhythmic movement of traditional intangible cultural heritage motifs.
