My images are composed of the beautiful macabre, the dominant submissive, and the tension between the pleasant and the unpleasant. These paintings are an intimate exploration of these themes, usually painted with little or no reference as an attempt to deepen into the core of the subject.
I draw my inspiration from myths and religions, taboo subjects, modern life and western philosophy and try to create illusive, yet recognizable imagery in vivid colors and an expressive technique.
