Recent Work

At present I maintain a modest art practice in an off-grid cabin on Trʼondëk Hwëchʼin territory, across the Yukon River from the town of Dawson City. I draw inspiration from the natural world- the lichens and trees, rocks and mountains, fish and mammals of my local landscape. I am very interested in the visionary power of nature and how visions and dreams allow for a different understanding of the constructed human-nature dichotomy. My work explores the relationships between both living and non-living entities, between what is considered natural and what is considered human. In my art practice I also aim to express a deep love and connection to the wild spaces of our local landscape.
