My work is often dark, usually political and often borrows stylistically from surrealism and expressionism. I love using detail and sharp, colourful imagery to create busy, engaging and entertaining image to make people stop and think on a topic.

Working mainly in oil paints and pen and ink, my work seeks to express my thoughts and feelings about the cultural, political, socioeconomic and environmental issues which I am preoccupied. The concepts for my work are imagined and often dreamlike.

My work is heavily drawn from my self-conscious, reconstituting and the amalgamating thoughts and images that I take in. I am an introverted person, and spend much time and iteration analysing the problems that I face, and see in the world around me.
