Submission Collage

Reframed

My print collages are rooted in concepts of memory and transformation. I see my work as a way to breathe new life into hand printed materials from the past, and to explore the ways in which memory can be reinterpreted and reimagined, shaping our identities and experiences. Using repurposed prints in monotypes, relief, intaglio, and lithography, I create collages that blend the old with the new, and bend the familiar toward unfamiliar. By repurposing and recycling these materials, I aim to create a sense of continuity and connection between past and present while also highlighting the cyclical nature and inevitable transformation of living memory. In revisiting works born from moments of reflection, I explore the power of memory to transform our perceptions of the world and ourselves.
