Running Back In Time

Inspired by an 80s running ad. Since the beginning of my photography journey 3 years ago, I've always enjoyed capturing candid movement in people. The goal of this shoot was to showcase a snippet of life as a runner on the track, but in a more recreational way, and with a hint of nostalgia. All images were shot on a simple point n shoot camera (with portra 400), which allowed me to be present and quick to capture Morgan's motions. I stumbled upon a Nike ad from the 1980s several months ago, and instantly inspired me to recapture that moment but to also get out and run. Additionally, I chose to shoot at the very last light/early darkness for a new perspective and to emphasize the track texture. With the days getting shorter and shorter, it's a reminder that you can still find ways to exercise before falling into the Netflix abyss
