This is a Self Portrait series where the illustrator, Barcelona-based Sara Marcos, pictures her everyday life together with her dog Casper.
The deliberate use of a limited colour palette makes this illustration series look cohesive and the scenes oddly familiar.
“I started these illustrations during the lockdown when I had the time to explore and develop my skills in digital illustration. My main goal was to portray myself in different situations in a non-boring way, and play with perspectives and textures without knowing exactly how it was going to turn out. Eventually, I liked the results so much that I continued and I'm now working on some new ideas to keep this series going.”
