Seeing the person behind the trauma and the foreign cultures. Finding the way into the human behind all the labels and presumptions. In this dream-like blue sphere the project discovers the identity behind misinterpretation and the misunderstood actions.
In the pursuit of safety for themselves and their family, they travel towards unknown lands and culture, finding themselves in a limbo torn between what was home, and what will be home.
The project consists of pigment prints of high saturation torn and connected as collages showing fragments of the subject and the dream landscapes they escape to.
Weighed down by blue stones the collages are piled and layered like the numbers and masses of the travellers weighed down by the journey they must take and new cultures they will have to face
