My work comes from curiosity. I’m constantly collecting images, memories, sounds, textures, and ideas, then asking what they could become when pushed somewhere unexpected. I’m inspired by cartoons, archived Black art, streetwear, music, and the visual language of everyday life. Play is at the center of my practice, but so is emotion. I like making work that can feel funny, strange, colorful, nostalgic, or heavy all at once. A playful image can hold something deeply personal. A familiar reference can become something completely new. I’m interested in that tension where imagination meets memory, culture meets emotion, and experimentation turns into something honest. I make work to explore, feel, question, and see what happens when I follow the idea wherever it takes me.
