Jessie Mahon is a painter, illustrator, and muralist living in Brooklyn, NY. Her work comes out of a deep affinity for nature, mortality, growth, and our desire to feel seen. Interested in our society’s shifting perception of beauty, patterns, and exploring self-development and change in playful, figurative ways, her illustrations and paintings result in dreamlike portraits, tableaux, and landscapes. In addition to private and corporate commissions as well as personal work, Jessie co-founded @inboxart, an ongoing illustrative-poetry collaboration on Instagram, and recently completed three large-scale murals in 2019: one in New York City and two in Los Angeles.
