The work reinterprets the mythical figure of Carmen Miranda as a contemporary body that occupies the fair as a critical agent. Adorned with fruit and vibrant colors, the performer restores the tropicalist imaginary to its political weight, questioning who profits from these images, who is consumed by them, and how Latin American bodies continue to be “sold” to the world.
