I’m aiming to explore the relationships, dynamics and behaviors between siblings and how they interact amongst themselves, and their shared physical space, all in hopes to live vicariously through them. Being an only child, I have never known the bond that one has with a sibling, let alone what it’s like to share a room/space with another. I give my subjects the opportunity to give my viewers context with their genuine responses to their images, which I then use for the caption of their image. I want to emphasize that relationship while also bringing light to its different forms, whether that be a cohesive dynamic, or one filled with tension and absence.
