The artist is interested in the ability of photography to create fantasies that are imaginary and realistic. She sees the unfamiliar environment as a backdrop where traditional Chinese imageries can recur. For the series, she staged and photographed objects she collected in daily life in an attempt to unleash their potential of being in a mythical story.
