Stream of Consciousness

I draw without a plan. I don't sketch first and I don't know what a drawing will be when I start it. I put the marker on the paper and keep going until the page is finished. I work through stream of consciousness and let each mark decide the next one.

I have spent more than ten years working in visual effects, where every frame is planned, corrected and approved before anyone sees it. Drawing is the opposite of that for me. Nothing is undone and nothing is planned, and whatever comes out is what stays.
