This project deals with the concept of Nature and its meaning. The word “Nature” is paradoxical in itself. By Nature it is usually understood all the phenomena of the physical world in which the human being has not intervened. Natural would then be the opposite of the human being and his creations. The opposite of culture.
However, this concept, like any other created by the human mind, is something cultural. A way to give meaning and sense to what surrounds us. Here is the paradox. How to make sense of something that by definition does not make sense.
We cannot. That original Nature, outside of us, to which the word refers cannot be experienced. It is there, next to us, but we need to put on the "sense-glasses” to see it, to understand it. And with those glasses what we see is something different.
