David Cañavate is a Spanish architect and artist who lives and works in Switzerland. Since 2002 combines his work as an architect with artistic and photographic projects. His training as an architect is clearly reflected in his works, where he tries to explore the line that separates memory from story, space from surface. Since 2012 he uses photography mainly in his artistic projects. His latest project «Places without Noise» was published in 2017 as a photobook by the Austrian publishing house Bertolini and presented as an exhibition at the RibGallery in Bregenz (Austria). Currently working on the project «Supernatural».
