Submission Painting

The awakening of dormant feelings.

This painting, "The Awakening", conceptually revolves around thought, a long-distance race. It alludes to the awakening of dormant feelings, emphasizing the arduous beauty of darkness that prevents us from seeing the beauty of life, only our reality.
It took the artist 13 years to understand that she did not lose her identity to a swamp; instead, she was raising it in an artistic expression, Reluet, the name of her home backwards, Cal Teuler, in the beautiful village of Miralpeix.
Her reflection after creating the painting “The Awakening”:
“The hard part is not starting but not stopping thinking. What seems impossible is possible. It doesn't matter how to get there. The means of reaching your destination are irrelevant; what truly matters is reaching it."
