The Dance of Figural Vestiges attempts to express the poetic nature of the human body by showing the relationships between its vestiges. By using a single photograph (without post-production) for each composition, the project seeks to realistically display the interactions of one movement to the next that is only seconds apart from each other.
Through the overlapping of body forms done in-camera, I hope the “Dance of Figural Vestiges” shows the potential of the human body as a unique visual canon.
