The Central Coast has always held a special place in my heart. As a child, I grew up visiting its sprawling beaches every spring break with family. I hold close all the memories of frolicking in the water, building sandcastles, and just spending time in this beautiful place with loved ones. As an adult, I recently moved back to the area with a slightly different outlook on life than I had all those years ago as a child. With my camera in hand, I've been working on documenting what life is like in this place year-round to find that sense of childlike wonder I had all those years ago. This photo, "The Memories of Childhood," captures that feeling that I once had, reminding me that even as an adult, I can still live in the moment and find the small, beautiful things in this special area again.
